How do I sign up?

In the top-left region of your screen, click on the Join button. You will be taken to a page where you will need to fill out a membership form.
Fill in a working E-mail address (You will get a confirmation e-mail to activate your account shortly)
Fill in a password you want to use (Be sure to choose a password that you can remember)
Fill in your desired User Name (in most cases this is your real name) (Eg: Samrath)
Fill in your desired Display Name (this could be a pet name or your name) (Eg: DJ Sam)
Fill in the Tag section. (Tags help in linking things together, in this case it would just work as an identity or a way to describe yourself) (Eg: Bangalore, Party Animal, Indiranagar, Tequila, Thai food, Fuga, Hip-Hop, DJ Axwell, etc)
Fill in your Mobile Number (If we do have a special party we could let you know)
If you are an Event Organiser, DJ or Venue Manager then check the box (This will then open a text box in which you can describe where you DJ, the name of your event management company, the name of the club you own or manage, etc.)
Now hit the Signup button and after a little while, check your email inbox for a verification email from Indivibe. You will be prompted to click the link inside the email which will verify and activate your Indivibe Account. Welcome on board!

How do I setup my Profile?

A profile page is your spot in the Indivibe community. Your profile can have everything about you from information on your favourite foods to pictures that you upload from parties and what-not. The more information and media you put into your profile page, the nicer it would appear. After the verification process is completed, from the top-left region of your screen, click on the log-in button, fill in the username and the password and click Submit. Once you've logged in, you should see your user name in the top-left of your screen. Click it and you will be directed to "http://indivibe.com/me".

1. Editing your Profile page

Click on Edit your profile; you will be taken to another page where you can change all your details like passwords, display name, additional tags, and also Add a Description for yourself.
In the Description box, you can add anything and everything about yourself, add a summary of who you are, what you do, your likes/dislikes, anything. Also, since this box supports Rich HTML you can add your own code into it like Widgets, Youtube video, Images and anything you can think of.
Once your done, click the Submit button to go to your profile page.

2. Adding a Profile Picture

Click on Change your profile picture; you will be taken to another page where you will be prompted to add a picture.
Click on Browse and find the picture you want to upload from your computer.
Add a caption (description) of the picture that you are uploading. (Eg: Me, chilling at Fuga)
Add Tags/Keywords of the picture (Eg: Bangalore, Fuga, DjSam, etc)
Click the Submit button and wait while the photo uploads.

3. Adding Photos to your Gallery

Click on Add photos to your gallery; you will be taken to another page where you will be prompted to add a picture.
Click on Browse and find the picture you want to upload from your computer.
Add a caption (description) of the picture that you are uploading. (Eg: Party with the gang at Taika)
Add Tags/Keywords of the picture (Eg: Bangalore, Taika, friends, etc)
Click the Submit button and wait while the photo uploads.

4. Adding a new Blog Post

Click on Add new blog post; you will be taken to another page where you can fill in your blog content.
Fill in a desired Title, should be a nice summary of the content of your blog post (Eg: Fuga party was a killer! or Review: Mondays at Taika)
Add Tags relevant to your blog post (Eg: Bangalore, Fuga, Killer party, etc)
Type in the contents of your blog in Text section. (Dont forget that this box supports Rich HTML so you can paste html code into the post, even pictures or youtube videos, anything)

Now that your profile has been setup, click View your profile and blogs and you will be taken to your profile page that everyone else will see.

How do I add an Event?

To add an event, you have to go to the page of the venue where the event is happening.

Go to the Places (venue) page.
Find your venue (club) by either running a search or browse/scroll through the alphabetic listings until you find your venue.
Open the page of the venue where you want to add the event.
Click on Add Event Here and you will be directed to the page where you will be needed to fill in all the details of your event:
Name: Add a name, keep it clean and concise, avoid using blaring caps, people appreciate the name being neat and to the point.
Tags: 4 important tags you should always remember to add - the city, the venue, the DJ(s) and the genre of music. Any additional informative tags like the special sponsors, the special concept, unlimited drinks, theme, etc.
Start & End timings: remember to add it correctly, quite often one forgets to change this.
Description: Put in any and all the information related to your event. A description helps in making your listing attractive so do indulge, vary fonts sizes, colors, formatting and what not. Also this space supports Rich HTML editing so feel free to play around.
Submit when you're done and you will be taken to your newly created event.
If you have a flier or a picture related to the event then you want to add it to the gallery of your event, to do that click on Add Pictures Of This Event :
File: Click on Browse and find the file which should be located somewhere on your computer.
Set as main image: Check this box if the image you just uploaded is a Flyer or a picture you intend to use as the events main picture.
Caption: if you wish to leave a comment of the picture then add your text in the box
Tags: Remember to leave the city tag, and put in additional tags like the venue, the event name, and such.
Submit and you will be returned to the page of the event.
Review the entire event, recheck that all the information such as dates and timings, venue, etc are accurate and then voila! You're done!

How do I upload pictures I took at a certain event?

Uploading pictures is a pretty easy task, but can be a little time consuming depending on how many pictures you are uploading and what size the pictures are (make sure to resize them to save time)..

Go to the Events page
Locate the event that you want to add the pictures to.
Open the event page and click on Add Pictures of This Event:
File: Click on Browse and find the file which should be located somewhere on your computer.
Caption: if you wish to leave a comment of the picture then add your text in the box
Tags: Remember to leave the city tag, and put in additional tags like the venue, the event name , and such.
Click Submit and you will be shown the picture you just uploaded.
Click the BACK button on your browser window and continue to upload the more pictures by repeating the above steps.
